As you'd expect, TradeStation 2000i makes use of all the benefits inherent in a 32-Bit application, namely stability and power. But it's gone beyond 32-Bit, offering you the latest state-of-the-art technology to capitalise on that power to its maximum potential.

TradeStation 2000i has been re-built from the ground up with a Microsoft COM architecture that lets you open anything from an Excel spreadsheet, to an OptionStation Position Search, or even an Internet Browser seamlessly within any workspace. For example, you can have your online broker window open and execute your trade when you receive a system alert, without losing sight of your chart. You see, this cutting-edge technology actually lets you incorporate any "Active Document" in your workspaces. That includes all Microsoft applications and hundreds of 3rd party applications and add-on products that you can choose to view right along side your charts and quotes and trade quicker and more effectively than ever before.

In the end, that means you'll have the stability and performance you need from your computer to help you find winning trading strategies.

And you'll make full use of that power. Because thanks to the new minimal maintenance Global Server, you'll now be able to collect tick-by-tick data on 50,000 or 100,000 or even 200,000 symbols at once--as much data as your datafeed transmits. The Global Server will even add new issues for you automatically and store bid and ask. And if you prefer to filter the symbols you collect, a simple click of your mouse takes you to preloaded Data Collection Templates which allow you to choose all stocks, or all futures, or a host of other combinations. You see, with TradeStation 2000i, there are virtually no limits. How much or how little data you choose to collect is entirely up to you, and the power of your PC.

TradeStation 2000i also lets you chart without limits! You can evaluate historical bar charts containing as many as 100,000…500,000 or 1,000,000 bars! So, your analysis power has no bounds. This is especially crucial if you're looking at extended periods of tick, 1-minute or 5-minute bars.
